I just found out that Fitness Expert and all around weird looking dude John Basedow died in the Tsunami. That is my excuse for lack of effort this week.

BIGGEST News of the Week

Aside from the death of one of the weirdest looking guys on the planet, there's not a lot of news this week. Jake the Snake is in jail. In a similar story, the Sun is expected to rise tomorrow.

See? There's just not much out there. Let's just move on to some stolen news.

1st Stolen News

From KrisZ: GHC Heavyweight Champ Kenta Kobashi has something bigger than wrestling on his mind in 2005 and that is he wants to find a wife. Kobashi said that he is 38-years-old and isn’t getting any younger and he wants to find a woman that can understand his lifestyle and that wrestling is basically his life. Kobashi said that maybe he can find a woman in the entertainment business that can relate to his lifestyle and won’t have a problem with wrestling. Kobashi said that he doesn’t get a lot of marriage proposals in the mail like KENTA & Naomichi Marufuji who get loads of proposals from teens and hopes that can change soon.

I really don't have anything to add to this. Kobashi needs love, and somebody needs to provide him with it. This is one of those times when I shake my head and mutter "there should be a law . . ."

Weekly Visitor Roundtable

Yesterday, I checked my email, and was very curious as to why nobody had responded to the WV roundtable yet. Then, I remembered that I didn't remember to ever write a question up and mail it out. So, no roundtable this week. Also, no UFBR, as I never got around to writing about any of the wrestling I watched. I will say, however, that Stan Hansen vs. Carlos Colon rocks. Someday, I hope to have para-military looking dudes holding a bunch of elderly, screaming Puerto Ricans off me.

Still, somehow more desperate for attention

Again, from KrisZ: New Japan President Masakazu Kusama stated today that he has been speaking with Brock Lesnar via telephone this week and the chances of Brock coming to New Japan are really high right now. Kusama went on to say that Brock is very interested in challenging for the IWGP Heavyweight Title and a possible match on 5/14 at the Tokyo Dome could be made. Lesnar is also very interested in working the New Japan shows in Italy in June.

Weekly Visitor Staff Reporter/Ticket seller extraordinaire Jon Hunt stated today that he has been speaking with the Bush twins via telephone this week, and the chances of them coming to his bedroom are really high right now. Hunt went on to say that the Bush twins are very interested in his package and a possible booty call on 5/18 (his birthday) could be made. The twins are also very interested in cooking him a large Italian dinner, as they want to treat him right.

Let's end this already.
